The curved arms of this silver Shabbat candlestick-candelabrum-produce strong vertical movement. Six arms interlace at the base and are flare at the top provide six bowl-like receceptacles for candles. Each receptacle is removable so that it can be used by a newly-wed couple or for a family of six. You may choose to have any number of candles you wish. Remove all the receptacles and you have a uniquely designed freestanding sculpture. Viewed from the top is a Star of David. The curved arms of this modern sculpture recall arms curved upward toward the heavens, the ancient prayer position.
