Is a large and striking sterling silver Menorah whose design incorporates some elements of classic menorah styling and yet is very contemporary at the same time. The parallel curves of the eight arms branching out from the central column reflect the Menorah in the Temple of Jerusalem (as seen in the Titus Arch). Alternating spheres and rounded discs constitute the structure of the arms and the column, reflecting the kaftor veperach-knobs and flowers--of that ancient Menorah. However the discs and spheres are stylized with clean functional lines in Menachem Berman's masterpiece.
